We have some exciting news that we want to share with you. Here at Opti Health, we are renovating our premises to make them that much better for you.

Now, you might have a few questions. So we thought the easiest thing to do was to put all of the information into an article.

First and foremost, you will still be able to enjoy all of the great services and treatments you are used to during the renovation project. We will be operating from the premises next door while our building is undergoing the transformation.

Here are the other things you need to know about our renovations: You might be wondering why we have chosen to do them, how long it is going to take, and what the amazing benefits will be at the end.

Well, let us tell you everything…

Why The Renovations Are Taking Place

We absolutely love the fact that we are operating from a heritage site building. It has amazing character and history. But, a historical building does need updating. We want to bring the building up to modern building standards while maintaining her charming character.

This is what we have planned:

  • Introducing two new therapy rooms at the front of the building

  • Removing the back room to create a more cohesive space (it will be incorporated into the living accommodation space instead)

  • Installation of a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance

  • A spacious carpark with full lighting and illuminated signs

  • Installation of a client shower and access toilet

  • Introduction of an Infrared Sauna (this type of sauna has lots of beneficial outcomes as heat is generated at a more comfortable level than a standard sauna)

  • Installation of a bathroom so that you can have a soak in the tub after your treatment if you choose

To accomplish all of that we will be:

  • Demolishing many of the internal walls and strengthening the floors to comply with building standards

  • Upgrading some of the pilings

  • Reroofing the whole building

  • Insulating of all the walls, ceilings and floors

  • Placing new gib linings on all internal walls

  • Removing the chimney from the waiting area

The Time Frame

We have just begun the renovation process and we are very excited to see the outcomes. We are planning to reopen in our transformed premises by March 2019.

The construction work will take two months. Then there is the process of gibbing, painting and landscaping to go through. Plus, all of the lovely finishing touches like carpeting, tidying and hanging of artwork. All those final details that will make the space fantastic.

By the end of it all, we will have turned a lovely old home into a state of the art clinic!

What You Need To Know

As we mentioned above, you will not notice any interruption in your booked appointments or treatments. The only difference is that we will be operating from the premises next door while our renovations are underway.

The great news is, for the duration of the renovation process, we will have a non-stop renovation special operating! You can find more information about the special on our website.

Basically, we want to assure you that you will still enjoy the same great experiences here at Opti Health. We have not changed our processes at all. We will still work to identify any issues you are facing and set about fixing them. Our aim is still to create a program to get you through the repair process as quickly as possible. During that process, we will still suggest possible changes based on your progress. Our goal is to get you back to excellent health so that you only have to pop in and see us once a month.

As we go through the renovation process we will keep you fully updated on the progress and time frames.

We have an exciting milestone approaching here at Opti Health, we are about to deliver our 64,000th session! Could you be the one that gets that honour?
